Colossians 2:10 in The Voice translation of the Bible reminds us that…
‘we are the product of His hand, heaven’s poetry ‘ Poiema’ (Greek) etched on lives, created in the Anointed, Jesus, to accomplish the good works God arranged long ago.’
We are created to create. The Word of God, the creative expression of God, has breathed life into us and we bear his image, his creative image, within each one of us.
‘Poiema’ is an attempt to connect with the Creator God, to be creative just as he has created us to be and offer that poetic creativity as an act of worship, praise and prayer.
